MARCH 8th, 2006 - "Collier & Co. - Hot Pursuit" makes a HOT PURSUIT across Birmingham, Alabama starting April 14th, 2007. The movie will open in Birmingham, Alabama area on Friday - April 14th, 2007. It will be showing in five different theaters in this specific market! Get out there and support Ole' John Schneider in his effort to make family action entertainment a part of movie theaters once again!

SCHNEIDER IN ALABAMA FOR PERSONAL APPEARANCES
Hollywood, March 2, 2007 – John Schneider, star of TV’s DUKES OF HAZZARD and SMALLVILLE, had planned to premiere his new movie “JOHN SCHNEIDER’S COLLIER & CO. – HOT PURSUIT!” at two dozen theaters throughout the South this weekend, but deadly weather has made changes to his plans.
Schneider announced today the addition of Enterprise , Alabama for the movie, and he will donate the proceeds of the entire two-week run to victims of the tornados. “It’s impossible to be here, to see the death and destruction, and not feel compelled to do whatever one can to help out,” said Schneider. “We are shipping a print to Enterprise where the school was hit and letting them keep all proceeds for the two week run.” This movie is personal for John; he financed it out of his own pocket.
Schneider is in the region, appearing at screenings of his movie.
Schneider wrote COLLIER & CO. – HOT PURSUIT! in 1982 during the height of his popularity as Bo Duke on the hugely popular CBS TV show DUKES OF HAZZARD, which is enjoying success in reruns several times a day on national cable networks. He also produced, directed, and stars in the movie.
“JOHN SCHNEIDER’S COLLIER & CO. – HOT PURSUIT!” is a family comedy, rated PG.

COLLIER & CO. HOT PURSUIT RECEIVES OFFICIAL MPAA RATING!
Well it's Official the official rating for Collier has come in, and we are proud to say we produced a PG rated movie - exactly what we set out to do. An action packed family film with a PG rating in real movie theaters? It has been done!
A "higher up" at the MPAA said this to me yesterday.
"...John... There's a whole lot of people out there just waiting for a
movie like this! Watching it felt like sitting down to a barbeque with
a couple of your oldest friends!"
That, coming from someone whose job it is, day in and day out, to watch
every movie of every kind that will ever be shown anywhere!
We are definately on the right track!

It has come to my attention that a particularly nasty article may be
coming out about my family in the National Enquirer.
After considering the nature of this article and its implications, I
have decided that it is best not to add fuel to the fire, not to step
into an obviously sensational tabloid fight and to just let it go.
Please don't let the article aggravate or upset you in any way. It is
typical of rag sheets of this kind to attack people who are following their
dreams at the most inappropriate times. I'm used to it.
Let's turn this around and use it to make more people than would have
before, come to see "Collier & Co - Hot Pursuit!".
Again... Waste no time or energy disputing this wildly imaginative
story. Know that my family is strong, intact and able to withstand anything
thrown at it. Let's not dignify these allegations with a response or
reaction of any kind.
On a different note... The new and improved version of "Collier & Co -
Hot Pursuit!" Is nothing short of amazing! It has undergone an entire
color correction and sound effect process that will make you move your
feet out of the aisle when the cars pass by! Also... When you last saw the
film it was 4% slower than intended. This was caused by a variance
between video shooting at 25 frames per second and film showing at 24
frames per second. Technical stuff but it caused the movie to be slower
moving and lower sounding than I had originally intended. It is now
EXACTLY as it appeared in real life!!! A HUGE difference, I assure you.
We are working hard to have the dvd ready for DukesFest in June. This
dvd will be pristine. The movie will look and sound just like any other
movie out there. They will be available in a separate kiosk and I am
going to try and sign as many of them ahead of time as I possibly can so
that everyone who comes will get a chance to get an autographed copy.
Along those lines... I'm going to suggest that you bring along a self
addressed, stamped envelope with $10.00 per item that you want signed
that is big enough for your items to drop off at a special area that we
will have outside of the autograph building. Here's why:
Last year we had an estimated 100,000 people at Dukes Fest. I estimate
that I signed 3,500 autographs. That means 96,000 people brought
something that they wanted me to sign and didn't get an autograph. That's
bad!!!
Here's what you do:
I will have a "Collier & Co - Hot Pursuit!" Car trailer out in the
midway somewhere for the sole purpose of taking your item that has been put
into a self addresses, stamped envelope or package of some kind, along
with $10.00 PER ITEM YOU WANT SIGNED included in the envelope or
package. It would be smart to include your phone number and email address in
the package because it's conceivable that I'll have 90,000 packages in
the trailer and it could take a very long time to complete the job!
The reason:
I don't want anyone who comes to Dukes Fest 07 to be disappointed in
anyway and it seems to me that not getting an autograph could be very
disappointing.
One more thing... If you put your items in an envelope or box along
with the $10.00 per item that you want signed into my car hauler... You
will get my autograph on that item only! I don't see the other cast
members enough, sadly, to get them to sign anything that you trust with me.
Again... I will personally sign your item and send it back in the
envelope or package that YOU provide, along with $10.00 per item that you
wish signed. Just me. Only me.
I hate to stress that so much but remember... This is something I want
to do to AVOID disappointment and not CAUSE disappointment.
Have a fantastic month! I hope to see many of you at "Collier & Co" -
Hot Pursuit! I will be at select showings in March. Remember... You have
to have a ticket to get to wherever I am in the theater. These are
theater regulations and I can't do anything about it. I promise that you'll
enjoy the movie even more now than before. If you've seen it
already.. Come see it again!
